Because this battery type doesn´t have a liquid electrolyte the dangers of a leakiness don’t exist. The poles are also screws as it is written in the guideline. Therefore, it isn´t necessary anymore to do any grease between poles and cable lugs.
Long storage life
It is achieved a very low internal-resistance through the using of the latest materials at the flat plates and own-developed pastes. The advantage is that the storability is increased rapidly because the self-discharge sink through the lower internal resistance of the Aquamot ALS battery. Therefore, the self-discharge rate is smaller than 2% per month.
